We exist to provide intentional, Christ-centered marriage discipleship that strengthens covenant unity and reflects Christ’s faithful love. Rooted in Scripture and guided with wisdom and practical tools, we help couples grow spiritually, navigate challenges with faith and purpose, and build enduring marriages that honor God.

Our vision is to see marriages strengthened through discipleship - husbands and wives walking in unity, rooted in Christ, and equipped to face every season together. We long to see homes marked by faith, grace, and steadfast love; children raised within the security of covenant commitment; and churches strengthened by couples who reflect the enduring faithfulness of God for generations to come.
Our Statement of Faith
At Hitched Hiking Marriage Ministry, our work is rooted in the unchanging truth of God’s Word. We believe that a strong and lasting marriage is not built on human wisdom alone, but on a foundation of biblical truth, faith in Jesus Christ, and a life surrendered to Him (Matthew 7:24-25).
We believe that the Bible is the inspired, authoritative Word of God and serves as our ultimate guide in all matters of faith, life, and marriage. Scripture provides both the foundation and the direction for how we understand covenant, love, commitment, forgiveness, and unity within marriage (2 Timothy 3:16,17; Psalm 119:105).
We believe that marriage was created by God as a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, designed to reflect the relationship between Christ and His Church. It is intended to be a lifelong union marked by faithfulness, sacrificial love, mutual respect, and spiritual unity (Genesis 2:24; Mark 10:6-9; Ephesians 5:25-33).
We believe that all people are created in the image of God yet are separated from Him by sin. Because of this, every marriage - no matter how strong - requires grace, forgiveness, and ongoing transformation (Genesis 1:27; Romans 3:23; Colossians 3:12,13).
We believe that salvation is found in Jesus Christ alone. Through His death and resurrection, we are offered forgiveness of sin and restored relationship with God. A personal relationship with Christ is the cornerstone of spiritual growth and the most powerful influence in building a healthy marriage (John 14:6; Romans 5:8; Ephesians 2:8,9).
We believe that the Holy Spirit actively works in the lives of believers - guiding, convicting, and empowering us to grow in Christlikeness. Through His work, couples are strengthened to love more deeply, forgive more freely, and walk in unity (John 16:13; Galatians 5:22-23).
We believe that marriage is one of God’s primary tools for spiritual formation. Through the daily experiences of marriage - both the joys and the challenges - we are shaped to become more like Christ as we learn to live out grace, humility, patience, and sacrificial love (Romans 8:28-29; James 1:2-4).
We believe that the local church plays a vital role in supporting and strengthening marriages, providing community, accountability, and biblical teaching (Act 2:42; Hebrews 10:24,25).
While we welcome couples at every stage of faith and spiritual understanding, we are clear that our approach to marriage discipleship is firmly rooted in these biblical convictions. Everything we teach, encourage, and walk through together flows from this foundation.
Our Approach
Through guided 2-on-2 coaching, practical tools, and biblical truth, we walk alongside couples and churches to strengthen relationships in every season of life. In addition, our workshops and customized conferences provide practical teaching and bring encouragement and insight to groups of all sizes.
