Your first session is what we call the Trailhead Conversation. This is a relaxed, conversational meeting designed to help us get to know you, hear your story, and better understand the current season of your relationship. We'll discuss your strengths, areas where you'd like to grow, your spiritual foundation, and your hopes for the future. There is no pressure, no judgment, and no expectation that you have everything figured out. Our goal is simply to meet you where you are and begin exploring how we can walk alongside you on your journey.
Because we provide Marriage Discipleship - we are coaches, not licensed counseling services - we do not accept insurance. Our fees vary depending on the type of program, length of engagement, and whether you are participating in pre-marriage or marriage coaching. We are committed to keeping our services affordable and will gladly discuss current pricing and available options during your initial conversation.
For more than two decades, we have been passionate about family and marriage ministry, actively mentoring couples, leading small groups, hosting workshops and conferences, and helping churches strengthen marriages within their communities. We are certified facilitators and have completed specialized training in Love and Relationships. Over the years, we have personally mentored numerous couples and overseen the mentoring of hundreds more. While we are not licensed counselors, our approach combines proven assessment tools, relationship resources, biblical truth, practical experience, and a deep passion for helping couples build stronger, Christ-centered marriages.
Marriage Discipleship is designed for engaged couples preparing for marriage, newlyweds building a strong foundation, and married couples in any season who desire to strengthen their relationship. You do not need to be experiencing significant challenges to benefit from the process. Many couples participate simply because they want to be intentional about their growth.
Marriage Discipleship focuses on growth, education, encouragement, and practical application through a biblical lens. While counseling often addresses clinical concerns, trauma, or mental health issues, Marriage Discipleship is designed to help couples strengthen communication, deepen connection, and build healthy relationship habits. When issues arise that are beyond our scope, we will gladly help connect couples with appropriate professional resources.
While every couple is unique, our Marriage Discipleship process typically consists of six to eight sessions. Some couples choose to continue meeting periodically after completing the core process for additional encouragement and accountability.
Yes. We believe trust is essential to meaningful growth. Information shared during coaching sessions is treated with respect and confidentiality, except in situations where there is a concern for someone's safety or well-being.
Yes. Because our process is built around strengthening the relationship, we strongly encourage both spouses (or both individuals in pre-marriage coaching) to participate fully in each session whenever possible.
This is more common than you might think. While the greatest benefit comes when both spouses participate, we encourage you to reach out and have a conversation with us. Sometimes a simple, no-pressure introduction helps address concerns and answer questions.
Yes. In addition to our 2-on-2 Marriage Discipleship program, we offer workshops, husband-and-wife breakout sessions, customized marriage conferences, and training for churches interested in developing their own marriage coaching ministries.
No. While our ministry is rooted in biblical principles and a Christian worldview, couples from all backgrounds are welcome. Our goal is to meet people where they are and walk alongside them with grace, truth, and practical encouragement.
